Danger Rodriguez (Camagüey, Cuba; based in Barcelona) is a famous dancer, choreographer, and teacher in Cuban salsa, rumba, son, merengue, timba, and Afro‑Caribbean styles. He trained in traditional Cuban folkloric dance from a young age, earned national and international awards (including top honors in France and Italy), led the Maraguán ensemble for seven years, and founded his own group, EVOLUTION, in 2010.
Marielkis Hernandez is a professional Cuban performer and Danger’s dance partner, blending classical ballet, contemporary, and folkloric roots with Cuban salsa, son, mambo, and multiple bachata styles. She co-instructs at Danger Dance in Barcelona, weaving her strong technical base and cultural insight into every class .
Together, Danger & Marielkis bring dynamic workshops and performances that honor Cuban tradition while pushing stylistic boundaries. They've graced major European salsa festivals like Fiesta Elegante and Nancy’s Rainbow Festival, delivering high-energy, culturally rich, and precision-driven training sessions
